CDG Community is composed of community and social-activists whose representation and networks reflect, not only their work but their involvement in the LGBTQ and the International House Ballroom communities.
This diverse group of individuals representing an array of professional and educational backgrounds, leading to a unique set of voices and interests that highlight the goals of this organization. The mission of CDG Community is to foster healthy living and education within disenfranchised LGBTQ communities by improving safe sex education, serving as health service advocates, promoting healthy life choices, and peer support and resources. CDG Community takes a multidisciplinary approach to servicing disenfranchised LGBTQ communities in order to ensure that personal well-being, safety, care, and emotional/mental support can be achieved. Through our local partnerships and diverse representation of individuals from disenfranchised LGBTQ communities, we aim to ensure the quality and quantity of services rendered meets the needs of our community.
